Today we went out to visit Kaori-san and had a super awesome lunch at her place! Kaori’s friend Hiroko was cooking all the food. Hiroko used to work at the CHAYA restaurant as a chef. She is one of the few Tokyo’s macrobiotic chefs and she rules on every level.
Started with a soup

and a whole lot of vegggies + tofu dishes. That sesame dressing was the best one I ever had in my life. No joke!

Tofu with mushrooms that looked like scrambled eggs :)

After the starters we hung with Rui aka Little Goon :) He’s awesome!

and then more food. R I S O T T O :)

Kaori’s place is really cool. She has two turtles

and a dog

View from the window.

Hiroko-san and Kaori-san. You can also see a little goon sleeping on his futon in the background :)

I wish we could have stayed longer but I had a lesson in Ikebukuro at 4pm so we had to leave. After the lesson I met up with Naoko in Shinjuku and got a new lense for her camera. Finally she can start taking pictures.. We are off to Niigata for few days to visit her grandma for the New Year so there will be plenty of opportunities to use her new gear!

I dont know why the cat always goes in a bag. Every time any bag is around the house

This is a very good lens :D
Thank you for your lovely photos :)
I hope we chould all meet together again soon!
Jake: Yes, thats Hamasaki :)
Greg: I think it’s an OK lens for the price. It was cheap :) I’ve learnt tho that if I want to shoot pics not having proper flash it’s better to look for brighter lenses :)
Kaori: We are looking forward to meeting you again in 2008!!
See you in mid January!
Have a lovely New Year!
